Yeah EGC pretty much anchors on its staff and management.

It always is a issue with staff. I'm quite surprised that EGC has been running so smoothly. I still don't think they have much of a focal point that I can see, but they are very successful.

I was looking at Rat Hosting yesterday, but then I thought about it and said what is this?? I will check it out. Thanks.

Yeah, this place has a lot of history. Making the decision to lay off the staff was really difficult, there was a lot of debate going on at the time and most of us were losing our patience regarding the state of the forums, and just wanted to do something about it.

Well, Cyber Snake was sort-of revamped into Rat Hosting, which is where PHO is hosted atm:

PHO has always been a good place and despite me not being active here for so long I do still care about the community. I am certain the forums should run smoother in a few days I think limiting staff really helped in that aspect as well. (Tough call to make) I will be sticking around to see what goes on.

The only person I know is Countryemo and Goku, but Goku is busy with his band making music. What is PHO hosted on? Is it Cyber Snake or did Laz change it?

This is all true. I won't lie, a while back Kristian and I were discussing the possibility of just letting this place go. Then, all of a sudden, olden members started coming back. It was a wake up call for us, basically yelling into our faces: "What the hell are you doing? No, don't give up on PHO."

And I'm glad that wake up call came, because within the next few days, this place is gonna be booming with activity just like it used to. We're putting a few amazingly well planned out moves into motion. Wish us luck!

And regarding TPD, I think the TPD family is worth it. Sadly, though, I have no idea where any of them are and haven't talked to most of them in a while. Even Clay has been gone for so long.

It is important to me. Though, it has a bad reputation because of the forum being offline and online and so-on. It is not that I care what people think and what I am doing is not in the best interest of the community. However, I would no doubt consider PHO to of put itself in the same position. I care about the members outlook on the community and many would say that the forum is being ruined by keeping it alive and that I should let it die peacefully. I'm certain Laz, Black Charizard and several others feel the same way and that is why they continue through the hardships of having a forum. It is about the family feel and about being as close to being a family as possible along with having a great time and that is why I created it from the start.

Hmm, it's ultimately your decision. My suggestion is to hold on to it, I know how important that place is to you

I have my whole database on my desktop. I have thought of giving it away to a forum to merge into their community. Although, I feel like I will be losing out on some stuff I do not want to give away.

    Never heard of it
And yeah, vB4 is terrible. Do you still have the vB3 files?

I no longer need it and VB 4.2.1 was unappealing to me. Firefox is giving me a error of "MLSD". Are you familiar with it?
