Default Implementing Gen 6 Features

What are your thoughts on implementing Gen 6 features in ROM Hacks? It seems to me many people want the Fairy type in their hacks along with Kalos Pokémon, but how about Mega Evolutions and new Abilities/Attacks?

Well for one, I plan on inserting Kalos Pokemon and Mega Evolutions (Via Moon Stone as a Placeholder) I think that adding Gen 6 Features really adds freshness to a hack so that's why Pokemon Osela will contain some newly implemented features included in X and Y. As for New Attacks and Abilities would also be great for someone basing on Gen 6.

I think some of the new features are fun, so I wouldn't mind seeing them in a hack provided they were implemented well.

I don't see any plausible non-super-complex way to implement mega evolutions in a hack tbh.

Maybe psuedo-diagonal-movement, fair types, and some stat dynamics. Destiny knot would be a good addition. Mulch's for berry farming ( and in FR, berry farming ).

It's been done in RMXP, but with that said so has shadow Pokemon...

It's just a forme change based on whether you have a mega ring and the required megastone, the problem is getting it to change in battle.

It's not just a forme change. It's a forme change, and that's pretty hard to do. Also, you'll have to implement a whole lot of extra checks (stone, ring, pokémon, battle conditions) and change the battle menu to put that button somewhere.

Oh right, I'm thinking of Gen 4 where there were forme changes galore. Even so, you have Deoxys with its forme changes based on game.

Deoxys is a strange thing. As far as I know, it has just got different data in the different games. However, in FR, there arevtwo deoxys sprites. Maybe for linking or something.
The only pokémon with true formes is Castform.

You guys realize that Mega evolution is not an auto-matic thing, right?

I'm aware, I'm just stating it's most likely possible, along with Shadow Pokemon, it just needs to be done.

EDIT: With that said you can go to your party screen in battle and give the pokemon an option to Mega Evolve...
