Team Aqua / Magma Logos before battle - PHO

Hey guys and gals,

I'm new to this forum, mainly because I have dealt mainly with Gen 2 hacking, which seems to be a little bit of a niche. I started recently with a Gen 3 hack (for Emerald) and have a quick question that I can't seem to work out.

Before a battle, most trainers tend to have pokeball logos. Others have a special logo appear instead. The ones I want to change are the logos specifically for both Team Aqua and Team Magma. Now, I don't necessarily wish to change them for a custom graphic. Changing it to the regular pokeball animation would be ok.

How would I go about doing that? I assume that different trainers would have different 'functions' to differentiate themselves between Aqua, Magma, Leaders, Rivals, etc and I would need to change this byte(s).

Any help would be great!
