Default What's Your Favourite Game To Hack?

Hey PHO, a friend of mine brought this up, what's your favourite Pokemon Game to hack?
Mine is Pokemon Fire Red, because I like the graphics/tiles and sprites more than R/S/E.
What about you guys?

I like hacking the DS games, mostly because everything is easier to do, and it's easier to fix your game if something corrupts, since the game runs on a filesystem. If something dun goofs, all you need to do is replace the troublesome file. And the formats are easier understand and are straightforward.

I stick with Emerald, mostly because my favorite region is Hoenn, and there are most of my favorite Pokemon there. I just like the atmosphere there, and it's been my favorite of all the games for a while now. Although I do occasionally tinker around with FireRed, because the graphics do seem a little more crisp in a way and it feels a bit more simple to script and stuff. (I use FR for testing purposes, usually. Nothing serious though.)
I am simply more used to working with Emerald

LeafGreen. It's basically the same as FireRed, but there isn't as much knowledge for it, so I get to look for it myself.

Firered. It's easiest in my opinion, and it's graphics were better than Emerald's, so using the default tiles would make more sense.

I prefer to hack Ruby rather than Firered. Specific reasons? I’ll list them:
- Better Pokedex system. 350+ Pokémon seems slightly disorganized to me, especially when there are Pokémon from the newer generations.
- It has a variety of battle music.
- The music suits hacks with marginally darker themes than the regular games.
- The game has less content than Firered. With less content, it takes less time to complete, that is, if one desires to change everything within the game, especially mapping. I presume that this is the reason why I see more Ruby hacks complete rather than Firered.

I realize that hacking Firered is overall superior to hacking Ruby, but Ruby suits more of the needs for the hacks I develop more. I’d like to hack Emerald, but I hear it is real unstable.

Well, I dont "prefer" one over the another...

I almost always, for my Projects use Fire Red, or Emerald.

The First because its simple hack it, 2nd because all the potential and specials wath it have :P

(The Easy Double Battles in Emerald are the best xD)

Cheers!
