Default PKSV-UI Not saving my script?

I have been working on a ROM hack for some time now, and am getting ready to start actually making the hack. As soon as I had finished the map for the hometown, I thought that it would be best to go ahead and make a script to start off the game.

Since I run Linux, I had to use PKSV, which worked fine for quite some time. Now, however, I have rammed head-first into a problem: After making the script, PKSV, after compilation, returns "@main <-> 0x1 (0xC bytes)", instead of actually telling me where the script was placed. And, it seems, thisw is also corrupting my ROM, as no$GBA returns "Bad ROM entry point at Header [000h]."

I am using a Pokemon Emerald ROM, and I know that it works (I've ran it multiple times before using it to replace a broken ROM). It's not the map either; the game runs normally with the map inserted.

I do not know if it is possible for me to just get a new script compiler, as I have no idea whether SEA is stable, XSE doesn't work in Wine, Red Alien requires Python3, which is not available for my Fedora 20 machine, and I don't know of any others. Has anyone had this problem before and, if so, could you help me?

Okay. I went ahead and downloaded it, but I can't seem to figure out its syntax. It looks like all of the screencaps of XSE, but it doesn't seem to like XSE syntax, and I can't access the "Commands" file to check. Ah well, that's a problem for another thread, isn't it?

Can you paste the script you're trying to compile with PKSV?
I feel like I've had similar issues before, and I forgot to do something silly.

Did you remember to set your dynamic offset at the top of your script?
eg: #dynamic 0x740000

Woops. Now that you mentioned it, I went to take a look at the #dyn line, and found that I accidentally had 7 digits instead of 6 (0x8000000 instead of 0x800000 (I use 0x800000 for Emerald, as I've found some threads saying that it's safer up there, even though I've never had problems with 0x740000)). Thanks for everyone's help.
