I don't see why we can't post and say whatever the fuck we want here. I don't think this forum should concern itself so much with policing what people post. I think there's a line that can be crossed that necessitates having moderators, but those situations would be rare (like posting porn, or flooding a forum/topic with posts, etc I could see a need to police the forum). Outside of this, I don't see what the need is. If this is supposed to not be like PC, a forum where stringent application of rules is the norm, I say going in the direction I've laid out is the best.

As for the concern that everybody will post here and nothing else will ever get attention... I highly doubt that would happen. This forum is filled with a diverse enough makeup of people that those who are interested primarily in talking about hack projects/research will do that.

well the fact that "fuck" isn't "****" shows you how little we care about the rules.

Our rules basically are, post what you need, and keep to yourself what doesn't contribute to a conversation or the topic at hand.

and as for your locked thread, it's because there isn't much conversation to draw from that. We like talk, but we still need conversation.
