Default Music Hack Overlapping onto Another Song

For some reason, whenever I assemble the linked .s file with Sappy, it seems to overlap onto Oak's Lab theme, rather than just staying in the Pallet Town Music Slot, and what I mean by overlapping, is that it also seems to assemble to the first five tracks of Oak's Lab theme as well as the Pallet Town theme, and I don't know why, the file has the same number of tracks as the Pallet Town theme, yet somehow ends up as part of the next song. It even does this when I try to assemble to the Fame Mix version of the Pallet Town theme, but instead, completely destroys the Teachy TV music in the process. And I have an idea that the music hack might be too long or something, but I'm not entirely sure.

Bumping this thread since an answer is still wanted.

I think this might be happening because you have not put a new offset with free space into the box that says "Base destination offset". The offset that is normally in that box is apparently the one used for the original song's notes, etc., and if the song you are inserting is bigger than the original one it will end up eating into the next song and corrupting it. You have to use an offset that has enough FF bytes to hold the whole .S file.
