Question. I know pre-existing hacks are not eligible, so I'm not entering Pokémon Christmas. If I was to use some of the graphics I made for that in a separate and un-related hack that was created for this contest, would that be eligible or would I have to make new snowy graphics specifically for the contest as well?

As long as it isn't the actual hack it should be fine

Ballin'. I'll see how much of my regular hack I can get done this week and then probably officially sign up for this. Just want to focus on my ongoing project first and all. But I do have a few ideas for this, and I'll say now that while it would use some of the same tiles, it wouldn't be normal Johto or Kanto so it would feel different from Pokémon Christmas as well.

If it were a puzzle hack, does it have to include pokemon, or anything pokemon related?
Or can we just use things without pokemon?
Also, do I need to edit the titlescreen?
I'm terrible at that,

No to both, but if you don't have a titlescreen best graphics is probably out of the question. I'll leave that to the judges to decide.

I believe the first post already stated this, but the deadline to submit your hack is 2014.
