What was the first pokemon you ever caught in the game Pokemon? My first pokemon that i caught was Rattata in Pokemon Gold Version!

Dunno what the first pokemon I caught was, but the first one I used was an Articuno on a used Silver cartridge.

I think it was either Pidgey or Rattata on Red Version. Honestly I don't remember exactly though since that was back in '98, but that seems most likely.

Well, I still remember that day, that day was one of the greatest memory of my life! Well, I lost the game so I cant play no more!

The first Pokemon I remember catching was Pidgey on my old Red Version. For some reason, I always thought that Pidgey was holding some sort of cane for the back sprite.

Haha me too, I thought pidgey had something in its wing
But I got a used ruby, and Swampert was first in line, so..
The first I CAUGHT has to be a Zigzagoon since I was introduced 3rd gen (worst game engine ever built)

Mine was totally a pidgey in my Yellow game. It passed up Pikachu quite fast and became my top pokemon in my party
