Thanks guys, I'm glad you like them! I've tried to put a lot of effort into devamping and making custom tiles to make it look as nice as I can, so glad to see people enjoying them.

And @CrystalMarina yeah, I do tend to update this one a bit more since I'm on PHO more often than PC

Especially in that last screenshot, the sprite looks a bit out of place. The pixels are bigger and really stands out among the higher-definition background... Just some food for thought.

The backgrounds and the sprites have the same size pixels but you are right, the machines in the last screen are large compared to the player. The turbines make sense to be that large but I may change it around to not have ALL the machines in that part be so large.

I'll go ahead and post a little update in here: I've updated the town map design to look very nice. I'll probably still make a few more tweaks to it before release, but this is what I have right now:



The new pallets and tiles used to make this (with the exception of 1 or 2 tiles) were donated by ~Gold!. (I know you said I don't have to credit you, but I like to give credit where credit is due ) So yeah, that's another thing I've done to overhaul the graphics. I don't think that's too much of a spoiler since there is a town map in the player's bedroom and usually the first thing anyone does is scope out the town map anyway to see what the region looks like (or at least I like to do that).

I know I had one person say "But Mateo! It's winter, shouldn't the town map be snowy?" but to that I say "Well, no not really. If you pull out a paper map or pull up Google Maps it doesn't suddenly get drawn in snowy colours just because it's winter." So it is only realistic to have the map stay in normal colours.

A suggestion for a future tweak on that town map:
The tiles for the park/pokemon league dont seem to fit in. thats the one thing id rather see changed.

Hmm, yeah they do look a bit off and are my least favorite part of the maps. I'll try tweaking them to work with a different pallet first and see if that helps, and if not I'll come up with something different.

EDIT: Pokéball felt off even in colour, tried this instead:

Ok ok. No more jokes, really if you like give credits give credits to @Chamber , she is the autor of the concept of the worldmap.

Really, the graphics are perfectly, I think if your hack is the best demake of Pokemon HGSS, Im impresed of your hack matt.
