Default Inverse Battle Applier

The Inverse Battle Applier is a simple to use tool that allows FireRed hacks to have Inverse Battles.

An Inverse Battle is a battle where all type advantages and disadvantages are swapped. It was introduced in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.

The ASM routine that this tool applies was made by DoesntKnowHowToPlay

To use this tool, you need to know a free flag (if your hack is fresh and FR, 1FF is free). Type your free flag into the Flag field and click apply. To make a battle Inverse, set the flag, to make battles normal again, unset the flag... simple as that.

You can type in an offset you wish for the routine to be places, but the tool automatically finds free space so you don't need to bother with that unless you have a specific plan.

HidoranBlaze has edited the original routine to work with Emerald version...

The example trainer(above) is the trainer in brocks gym, but the same parts can be copied from any trainer.

trainers using this script will not approach the player, they must be talked too.

X and Y usually ask the player if they want to continue... this script warns the player but does not let them back out. A simple yes/no script can make that happen. If you can't figure that out, you probably shouldn't be scripting.

If you are doing this for multiple trainers, you do not need to compile the '@clearinverse' section each time, you can just use the same offset where it is compiled once.

will there be one for older games like gen 1 or 2. also i have used this on a Mawile Solo Run randomized and this which will be VERY fun

Thanks a bunch for this! This is crazy awesome. Is there any way to battle the same trainer more than once? I want to make it similar to how it is in X and Y where you can battle the trainer over and over.
